Our “Category Manager – Distribution & Logistics” will have the following responsibilities and meet the following requirements:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports directly to our “Category Manager – Distribution & Logistics”.

Strategic Direction setting for commodity and follow-up with local “Country Buyers”.

Executes tactical sourcing in accordance with delegation of authority.

Develops Commodity strategy in alignment with Category Manager.

Optimizes our “Distribution & Logistics” supplier’s portfolio.

Ensure compliance with existing contracts.

Benchmarks cost and processes for similar products/services across several countries and/or plants.

EDUCATION:

The candidate must have a University degree in Business/Engineering.

LANGUAGES:

The candidate must be fluent in English (oral and written).

The candidate must be fluent in Spanish and/or Italian.

EXPERIENCE:

A first experience (min. 4 years) in Procurement/Purchasing is a must.

A previous experience within an international company or a Headquarter is a must.

A previous experience within a logistic department or company will be considered as a strong asset.

A working experience in cross functional project management is an asset.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to mobilize remote procurement resources (like buyers).

Good communication skills across functions and countries.

Excellent organizational and planning skills.
