We are seeking candidates (m/f) to join our Luxembourg offices for the following position:
Department: Fund Accounting, Luxembourg
Position: Fund Accountant
Reports to: Fund Team Leader
Overview of Position: The position involves two key areas:
1. Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly valuations on a wide range of funds.
2. Preparation through to completion of the interim and annual financial statements required for each entity.
Principal Responsibilities:
The calculation of daily NAV
Validation of all data in the fund
The preparation of monthly /quarterly/ semi annual and annual reporting
Maintenance of relevant files for both valuation and audit purposes
The resolution of client and auditor’s queries
The overall client’s satisfaction
The maintenance of a professional but good working relationship with the client and with other Orangefield Trust partners
The client’s implementation and conversion
The participation in project implementation
Understanding implications of work prepared, ie compliance and regulatory
Additional tasks that may from time to time be required which are appropriate to the role and business requirements
Your profile:
Minimum Bac +2 in accounting, economics or finance or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
Fluent in English. Any additional language is a plus
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Bloomberg
Attention to detail and constant focus on quality and client service
Excellent Team player
