The risk manager will have a pro-active role in the ongoing analyzing and evaluation of all systems and processes, to ensure policies, processes and standards are in place to identify, assess, measure, manage and report risks within the business line environments of the Corporate & Trust Eurasia Division. The location will be Luxembourg
Your key tasks and responsibilities are:
Analyse, develop, co-ordinate, execute and implement policies and procedures
Actively contribute to the development of risk management requirements, standards, and guidance
Address control weaknesses identified by internal and external parties
Provide data and analysis to management with regard to risks
Incorporate the risk management framework within the business lines within the C&T Division
Participate in monitoring the resolution of control issues identified by the business as well as by internal audit, compliance, external auditors, regulators and credit management
Contribute to risk awareness
Contribute to the development of targets and limits for the key risk indicators to enable risk monitoring
Monitor industry and regulatory developments as they impact the business and the risk management function
Identify, introduce and implement best practice, effective procedures and process improvements for risk management, order systems, cash performance and client satisfaction for each contract:
Provide management with risk reports as required
Qualifications and Experience: the following will be highly regarded:
An academic background, preferably in (Business) Economics, Business Administration or audit;
At least two years of experience gained within the Trust or Corporate Services Provider business
Proven experience in analyzing and writing policies and procedures
General knowledge of risk issues
Proven ability to interact with various levels of staff and management
Good organizational skills and a pro-active and flexible attitude
The ability to work alone as well as in groups (team player)
A high energy level and a positive attitude
Solid PC skills
Excellent verbal and written communication in English, French and/or German will be an advantage
Willingness to travel
