Your assignment
We are now looking to
recruit a Junior Middle Office team member to strengthen the team working with
risk management for our funds. The Middle Office supports two management
companies; SEB Asset Management
S.A. and SEB Fund Services S.A.
The position will focus on SEB
Fund Services fund customers. SEB
FS services external investment managers and management companies that have Luxembourg
fund vehicles under management or administration with SEB.
Description of main duties:
• Risk based and pro-active risk management for SEB
Fund Services S.A.
• Monitoring of legal and special Investment Restrictions and Policies for all SEB FS funds based in Luxembourg on a post-trade
basis.
• Internal and External Reporting of all Investment Breaches and NAV Calculation Errors to the appropriate
recipients for action
• Monitoring of Market Risk through Value at Risk, Stress Test and other risk
indicators for all SEB Funds based
in Luxembourg.
Your assignment:
• Support the Senior Middle Officer in the monitoring of all funds risk and
outsourced services
• Controlling of investment restrictions for all Luxembourg based funds
• Controlling the VAR and other
risk limits set for the funds
• Be in contact with the external auditors and CSSF
• Work as a team member of the Global Middle Office Team with colleagues mainly
in Stockholm and Luxembourg.
The position will report to the Head of Middle Office.
Your profile
• Professional experience from Investment Funds
• Experience from investment restriction control and market risk
• Understanding of a funds prospectus and legal requirements
• Fluent in English
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other standard IT tools
• Adequate quantitative skills
• Good organizational skills
