Hedge Fund Accounting Analyst - Rowlands International - Luxembourg

About the Job
Our client is a multi-strategy hedge fund investing in a broad range of asset types including equities, options, futures, foreign exchange, bonds, swaps, mortgages and numerous other financial products.

Currently they are looking to recruit a Hedge Fund Accounting Analyst (M/F)

Tasks:

• You will be responsible to assist in financial statement preparation and review of Luxembourg foreign entities, including coordinating with local administrators and helping to guide local statutory reporting process to completion.
• In your role you will be responsible for preparing multi-currency month-end closing, journal entries and reconciliations.
• You will assist in the coordination of the entire Luxembourg foreign area and you are also responsible for reconciling information to the main US Company.
• Your responsibility lays also in the interaction with the Operations department.
• You analyze the Monthly Account.
• You are responsible for the management reporting.
• Furthermore, you assist in the coordination of 4 annual local statutory and tax return reports.

Profile:

• You obtained a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Preferably you already gained a relevant work experience of 3-4 years: an experience within a public accounting background with hedge fund or corporate accounting experience will be considered as a plus.
• For this position, excellent analytical and communication skills (both oral and written) are required.
• You have a strong technical proficiency with web applications and MS Office.
• Furthermore, you have the ability to multi-task as well as to meet short deadlines in a demanding environment.
• You gained strong interpersonal and client service skills.
