Description of Positi
The Senior Accountant position will focus primarily on management and review accounting functions related to the Management Company or Fund Accounting group and its related entities.
Principal Responsibilities
Monitor daily cash transactions and perform cash management duties for Management Company or Fund Accounting group and various related entities
Manage monthly close process including coordination of foreign office closing procedures
Review consolidated monthly financial reporting package
Review detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis on monthly basis
Manage fixed asset ledger activity, and review all depreciation calculations
Manage and review completion of property tax returns
Manage and review completion of annual budget
Review quarterly loan compliance packages
Prepare special projects for upper management
Review and approve wire transfers as necessary
Review quarterly financial statements
Review and approve calculations for capital calls and capital distributions
Communications with audit team on field work
Assist in investment portfolio monitoring projects
Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess an Accounting degree and have a minimum of four years of experience in the Accounting field. Candidate should possess strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication (both oral and written) skills. In addition, candidates should be self-motivated and be willing to work in a team environment.
